Nathan was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He obtained his Bachelor of Exercise Science from Illinois State University followed by his Master of Occupational Therapy at Midwestern University, also in Illinois. Since then, he has lived and worked in eight different states as a travel worker and has developed an affinity for outdoor adventure. On weekends he enjoys adding to his list of bagged peaks, whether a simple hike or sustained technical pursuit.

Nathan was drawn to rehab of the hand out of an appreciation for human anatomy, movement and activity. He draws on experience from multiple practice settings to provide holistic treatment focused on improving overall function. If not at work or in the mountains, one is likely to find him reading further about hands and how to help people make the most of them.
