Jessica grew up in Yankee Springs, Michigan. She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at Grand Valley State University before attending graduate school at Western Michigan University, where she earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) in 2024.
Jessica was inspired to pursue a career in occupational therapy after her grandfather experienced a CVA. Witnessing his rehabilitation and the role occupational therapists played in helping him regain function and independence sparked her interest in the profession. Jessica was drawn to hand therapy because she enjoys the combination of detailed anatomy, clinical problem-solving, and creativity involved in helping patients regain function. She is passionate about helping patients feel confident and empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys exploring her new home in Salem, finding new hiking trails, discovering local shops, paddleboarding, and taking trips to the Oregon Coast. She also loves spending time with her dog and cats
