Bethany was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, where she studied biology and psychology at the University of Portland. While working in emergency medicine, Bethany discovered Occupational Therapy and was drawn to its combination of evidence-based practice, creativity, and meaningful participation. She went on to attend New York Institute of Technology’s OT program, where she developed a strong foundation in different specialties, including hand therapy. Bethany takes a client-centered approach to care, combining clinical knowledge and creativity to help clients achieve the goals that are meaningful to them. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, reading, strolling through parks (Bryant Park is an all-time favorite), visiting wineries, and trying new hobbies. She is also passionate about supporting environmental conservation, education, and advocacy.
